X-Men #2
X-Men #2 Review

I did not enjoy this one as much as the first issue. This issue introduces some interesting concepts, but some of the dialogue and characterization is not that good. Kid Cable is so annoying, and the worst version of Cable I have read; he isn't even characterized like he was in X-termination or the last X-Force run. Seeing Cyclops try to be a dad to his future kids is weird, but actually nice to see. I am enjoying Lenil Francis Yu's art.

Cyclops, Prestige, and Cable go to investigate "The Other Island" which Krakoa is hastily approaching. On this island we meet the only High Summoner of Arrako currently known to be out there. At first, they battle the Summoner, but then Racheal puts Krakoan in his head and they communicate. Peace is made, and we see the two islands connect out of love, and become one. The Summoner stays on the Arak Coral part of the Island. Apocalypse shows up and talks to the Summoner; knowing one of his former Horsemen are the mother; which we learn is War. Apocalypse says he will save his children of Arrako, just as he will his children of Krakoa.

Intrigued to see where this series goes!
