I thought this was an enjoyable issue. I have been enjoying this title quite a bit. I have liked Bryan Hill's writing on this title, and when he set things up in Detective Comics. The art by Dexter Soy has consistently been a high point.

The issue begins with Batman talking to Sophia, saying he can give her a regular life. Sophia basically says she needs to figure herself out. Black Lightning is missing, and Katana, Signal, and Orphan decide to track him down. We see Jefferson is still with Shiva, the two trust each other enough and ask a weapons dealer what dangerous weapon Ra's now has. Before the weapons dealer can spill, she is killed by the arriving Kaliber, who's with Isshmeal and Karma. The issue ends with Katana, Signal, and Orphan appearing to even the odds.

This was a really good issue. Can't wait to read the next one!

How big of a part does Batman play in this series. If he just a side character that allows the other to shine, or center stage?

Some issues he is in more then others. I find the other characters shine more, but Batman is still a main character I would say. My personal favourite characters in this series are probably Black Lightning/Katana.
