I am really not enjoying this that much so far. I liked this issue, but I've had much higher hopes for this title. I personally don't love the jumping around to different little stories that is persistant in this series. I guess the silver age style just isn't for me. I just was looking forward to more continuation on the "who killed Jimmy" story and we only got a few pages of that at the end. I like the art a lot by Steve Lieber, it really suits the title. For me, Matt Fraction's writing has been lacking so far; although this issue was an improvement on the first.

The issue starts with another prehistoric Metropolis story. I think these are lame as hell.

We then get a stroy with Jimmy and his brother. A few little decent moments but overall meh. I did like that inside this story we got to see how Jimmy accidentally won his pullitzer, that was actually kind of funny.

My favourite part of this issue is when we get to see Superman and Jimmy hanging out. Superman exposes his "super, secret powers" and we actually get a pretty fun time here. Of course in the last few pages we get more of the main "who killed Jimmy Olsen?" story. We see Jimmy storming out of his room looking to figure some things out. The issue ends with Lois getting a call and leaving the Daily Planet in a rush, I'm guessing heading for Gotham.

Hopefully this series continues to improve!
