The Immortal Hulk #8

Man, I keep waiting for an issue I'm not gonna love but it still hasn't come yet. I can't say enough good things about how brilliant thi creative team is. My one little complaint is that the colouring is a little weird sometimes.

This issue revolves around the scientists at the Shadow Base experimenting on the Hulk. We see all the body parts of the Hulk seperated. The scientists question why his body doesn't just regenerate; but instead has to reform.

This issue also marks the return of Gamma Flight. Carol Danvers reforms the team; putting Walter Langkowski, the former Sasquatch at the head. Later on, Walter recruits Jackie McGee to help him. Carol's play causes concern for Shadow Base, planning to move their operations.

The Hulk ends up escaping, now having learned more about his capabilities. It turns out the Hulk was never truly trapped. In the process of escaping, Hulk envelopsthe main scientist, killing him. The issue ends with Bruce coming to, feeling like that line has been crossed; swearing he can hear his Dad laughing.

Can't wait to read the next one!
