Uncanny X-Men #10

This review contains spoilers. Proceed at your own risk.

This story was a little all over the place, but I thought this was a pretty strong finale. The writers did a good job at concluding this chapter; while setting up for the future of Uncanny X-Men and Age of X-Man. I also loved the art in this issue, done by my favourite of the rotating artists in Pere Perez.

The psychics come up with a plan to put their powers together so they can split X-Man and Legion apart. Before that, Psylocke gets help from Archangel so she can get to Storm and revert her back to her regular self. This works and Storm is now not under X-Man's control, and incredibly enraged. Storm attacks X-Man which helps the psychics seperate Legion and X-Man, with Legion passing out right away. Jean gets trapped inside X-Man's head, and they have a talk. In the process Jean reveals the true pain she has been through to X-Man; which then seemingly leads to x-Man letting his grip on the Horsemen go. Nate revveals he is dying; and no matter what Jean says, X-Man will not die without making a change. This segment ends with X-Man making all the X-Men disappear, with the world believing them to be dead.

The issue end with a monologue from Cyclops; bringing up the state of the world, with the X-Men supposedly dead. There isn't as many mutant left, and now the vaccine is making the rounds.

Great stuff. Can't wait to read more X-Men stuff!
