  • Typical Brian Pullido stuff. Sexy demonic characters. High adventure and slightly perverted storytelling. I dont know if anything from COffin Comics will ever win any major awards or acclaim. But what i like about this stuff...

I'd like to get them but the high cover price puts me off.

  • I don't want to like this but i reluctantly admit that i am enjoying it. I'm not a fan of reboots. I love the history of characters and how they develop and change over time. When DC typically just give up and reboot,...

It has definitely picked up in the last two issues. It was great seeing Computo looking Danielle Foccart--ish. I'm still waiting to find out how "El" is Mon-El?  Issue #6 should give us insight into three new characters Gold Lantern, Doctor Fate and Monster Boy. Issues #8 and 9 will now be one artist per page with each page focusing on a single Legionnaire. Hopefully, this means we'll have been introduced to everybody. I'm fine with the reboot, I've been happy with Legion reboots before (Zero Hour and Waid's Threeboot). But, I'm a rare long time fan that firstly likes having Superboy around and secondly doesn't have an issue when the long time relationships are mixed up. Bendis is starting out with two strikes with alot of Legion fans.

This really is a great series. In my opinion i dont think there has been a writer who has as good a grasp on the Hulk as Al Ewing since the days of Peter Davids long run on the original series. He continues to deliver a...

I look forward to reading the rest of this run at some point.

  • First of all this book is worth buying just for the artwork. I would be hard pressed not to pick up anything with artwork from Terry and Rachel Dodson I really think they're one of the best artistic teams in comics at...

In Australia, this name is a beer. It could mean 4 kisses. And elsewhere is can be something ruder. Unfortunately everything has multiple meanings.

Well this issue was most definately not worth the wait. I really cant think of anything positive to say about this issue other than it wasnt as bad as #39 even though i still hated it. This infected storyline is just so...

And #40 will be the last physical issue of this series. #41 and #42 will only be available digitally and in collected edition. (if there is one)

Easily the highlight of this run was the storyline where Supergirl unravels the conspiracy against Krypton. Issues #21-32

I always enjoy Suicide Squad I've just loved the concept ever since i picked up the original 1980's series. Sadly as much as i always enjoy it, no one has really come close to matching the great work of Ostrander...

I definitely want to catch this. Tom Taylor is a top writer in my opinion.

This continues to be one of my favourite books each month. Not reading digital its great to finally be able to get a physical copy in my hands.  Dealing with the Brood is pretty much a predictable staple of X-Men lore...

This is an interesting book so far. When Star first appeared in Captain Marvel i wasnt overly impressed. The standard storyline of mysterious new hero who overshadowed the current hero but was always going to turn out ot...

This starts off with a good premise. With all mutants being welcomed to Krakoa there are going to be many who have some kind of issue or are just outright sociopaths. We know that Sabretooth was an extreme example and the...

Good to have Wolverine back in his own series again. Its a great opportunity to dealve deeper into his character than we tend to see in his numerous other appearances in other titles. This issue didnt quite hit for me on...

Nightwing is a favourite character of mine yet i just cant read this book anymore. I pick up an issue every few months to see if this insanely pointless Ric/Amnesia storyline is over. Although this issue hints that they...

It's so annoying because if you look at the synopsis for the other issues he just becomes a Villian's plaything again with Joker brainwashing him

  • This book is a collection of 3 short stories about the adventures of Scarlet who apparently hunts down Werewolves with the help of her Grandmother. I think this may be the first book i've marked as 1 star.  Some...

  • I admit to buying this for the cover. But in my defence, why wouldnt you?  Coming into this series at #3 but easy enough to pick up what was going on. Time travel, mystic amulet, lots of fighting etc. Pretty typical...

I bought this because i saw Honey Badger was featured in the first few pages (I refuse to call her scout). But unfortunately it was only a cameo along with just about every other mutant now living on Krakoa. I dropped this...

A Mary Jane solo series should not work, why would it? But the fact is it just does and its such a fun read each month.  The first story arc that concluded last issue was a fairly humourous adventure with Mary Jane...

Ok, i admit that i am starting to enjoy this title. I've only been back for 3 issues but i've been picking it up based on recommendation of people on this site and although i think i still have a way to go before...

  • Being a reprint of a comic first published back in the 60's this obviously isnt going to stand up to a lot of more modern comics in terms of the perceived quality. That said i do love picking up these reprinted editions...
