Well, I have to stay home a bit more during these wild times. I guess I have an excuse to dive into more comics. I noticed I'm like 30 issues behind on Hickman's X-Men, but I also have some older stuff I want to finish, like Hickman's Avengers, Annihilation, Spider-Gwen, and to start Kree-Skrull War.

Stay safe people! What are you guys reading?

Let’s see besides current stuff, I’m at Bronze Age Doom Patrol followed by Silver Age, Nelvana of the Northern Lights and Space Battleship Yamato Classic Collection by Leiji Matsumoto

With missing series, do i have to suggest the whole series AND each individual issue?

Hey guys. Do you prefer to get weekly pulls of everything that catches your attention or save a bit of money per issue and just get a trade paperback?

I love buying floppies for a multitude of reasons (timeliness, variant covers, back matter, etc), but there's a downside to floppies as well (UNtimely release schedules, if not canceled altogether [I'm looking at you, Hickman]). And let's face it. A box of floppies isn't near as pretty as a shelf of trades or (preferably) hardcovers. The ultimate reason why I buy floppies is to support the creators with immediacy (which is the only thing the market cares about, story be damned) and give the books I love a better chance of fleshing out their stories to their fullest potential and vision.

Hey guys! Just recently started to use this site. Its pretty neat. Question. Would you guys say there is a learning curve to comics and if so how steep?

Welcome! I’d say if you’re into super hero comics it can be kind of a guessing game as to where to jump into current ongoing series. Other than that look for new series starting up and consider checking things from Image comics (third largest comic publisher that publishes creator owned work). Once you start reading you’ll start to notice writers that you like. From that point check out their back catalog and look for new projects from them. Enjoy! Have fun! Ask more questions! We’re a friendly bunch. :)
