Inhumans vs. X-Men #6

March 22nd, 2017

This......this is what is wrong with Marvel doing all these damn crossover events.  They stretched this out to 6 issues and how many tie ins and this is what we got????  I don't know if this ending was worse or if Emma making up Cyclop's death for Death of X was?  Is Marvel intentionally trying to screw up the X-Men universe?  If tso they are doing a mighty fine job.

They were trying to hit the reset button, but did a clunky job of it.

Yeah... And there was a 0 issue as well. It seems like that is the MO. Sell more books, tell less story.

Marvel puts so much attention on Inhumans, so why is the movie constantly being delayed?

There is no movie. There's a show that comes this year, I think. I'm guessing it will be pretty bad since a TV show budget won't be able to do proper Inhuman stuff.

Some of the cast is cool but its Medusa is killing me. I don't have very high expectations.

Okay, I've been reading the All-New and Uncanny Inhumans, as well as IvX, and even I wouldn't be able to tell who those people are portraying. I get Medusa, Black Bolt, Crystal, Karnak, but is that supposed to be Black Bolt's brother on the far right? And holy crap does Medusa's hair look awful! There's no reason to not make a movie out of the Inhumans. The X-Men and Avengers fared pretty well in the box office. Guess we'll never see Luna then...

It is a TV show, but they are showing the beginning in IMAX theaters, then it goes to TV (at least that is what I read awhile back.)

Eh, only Marvel series I've seen is the first episode of Daredevil. I know I need to watch the rest of that series, but I'm very doubtful I'll ever watch Agents of SHIELD or Jessica Jones, or whatever.  Inhumans being a tv show just drops the quality of it immensely, as it would bring a whole lot of plotlines to the universe, especially if Scarlet Witch is then supposed to be an Inhuman. Hell, having Fantastic Four produced by Marvel, instead of FOX would be insane!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been good, which I am surprised with it being on National television.

The Netflix shows are great (well maybe not Iron Fist)

Legion on FX was great also.

Now the Inhumans doesn't look great. There is another show coming to Fox this fall The Gifted that doesn't look good.  The Cloak and Dagger series looks bad.

Plus there is a yet to be determined X-Men show scheduled to debut on Fox at some point.

I know it is impossible for Marvel to turn every superhero into a movie and the need for television is there.  But, don't start just making series for the sake of the characters.  Plus you have the whole mess of the X-Verse not being in the MCU and that may really get things messed up on that end.

Marvel has done a wonderful job getting the same people to play the same characters thus far and I would hate to see this change.  Like how the DC shows are having different actors playing different characters on TV and in movies.  I understand the problems having the same person playing a character on both, but it makes the story so much better.

Oh well, I guess we have to live with what we are given.....

DC's movie universe is in no way connected to the one in TV. That's why different people play the same characters. Marvel's movie and TV universe is, in fact, connected that's why there aren't overlapping characters/different actors.

Well, X-Men has been shown to work on TV, at least in animated format, so a life-action show could probably work. Hell, it could be about the new mutants from the movie, Logan. Though an Inhumans vs. X-Men movie (without a bullshit reasoning for it) would be awesome to see, though I wonder if Marvel will attempt Civil War II and/or Secret Empire in the MCU.
