I really like this art style and it fits this book perfectly.  I’m somewhere in the middle for this issue.

I can’t say I was a big fan of the dialogue but the mystery really holds up the issue.  It has me super intrigued and curious how did he stumble into this town.  Who is the man who killed the deer driving the truck?

Some of the story was meh.  I didn’t care for the whole thing with the giant iguanas.  Seemed like fluff to me that didn’t add anything to the story and while that’s not necessarily a bad thing in itself, it wasn’t entertaining either.

I’ll definitely be pulling issue #2 just because I’m so intrigued by this world they’ve built.

The cover also reminds me of Rango.
