There was a bit of an uproar last week after everyone laid eyes on the new official photos from Kenneth Branagh's Thor, particularly the shot of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Odin (Anthony Hopkins), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston). Many fans took issue with the lack of helmets for the characters, despite the characters having existed without them in various comic book renditions. Thankfully, the latest photo from the LA Times should calm any worries.
In addition to the helmets worn by Odin and Loki, the photo even reveals Huginn and Muninn - the pair of ravens that retrieve information for Odin, flying all over Midgard. You can also see Hogun (Tadanobu Asano) and Fandral (Joshua Dallas) on the right side of the throne steps. On the left, you'll see Loki and what is likely Frigga (Rene Russo), Odin's wife.
Could Thor be holding his helmet? Possibly. Regardless, this new image goes to show Branagh and Marvel Studios have gone to great detail with the movie. Do you agree?
