The Justice Machine is a sort of super-powered police squad, the ultimate law-enforcers on their home planet of Georwell. Unfortunately, Georwell is a totalitarian state, and its laws are often bent or rewritten to serve the powerful. (Georwell’s name is derived from from George Orwell, author of 1984.)
This incarnation of the Justice Machine consists of Diviner, a psychic; Titan, a gigantic powerhouse; Blazer, a woman with awesome flame powers; Talisman, a man gifted with unnatural luck; Demon, an egotistical speedster; and their leader, Challenger. Even though they believe in their cause, the Justice Machine have lately begun having doubts about their government. Before these doubts could grow into serious questioning, the government which they served turned on them. They were sent to Earth to capture a rebel leader, but once there, their government branded them as traitors and ordered they be shot on sight!
