  Newsrama reported today that #5-7 are slipping shipping dates (similar to #4-6 before). Kinda feels like if you can’t keep the double ship schedule on track... maybe stop double shipping? 

  And Hickman is writing one of the new February books (Giant Size #1, granted it’s a one-shot). This doesn’t seem sustainable. I’d rather these books succeed than have new books every two weeks. Quality over quantity please!

  I agree with ein. It's crazy to push all of these books if they can't meet the dates. Asking fans to foot the expense of all these books is bad enough. But then missing deadlines is not acceptable.

  His avengers and new avengers were monthly right? Think they were. In a way that's double shipping but for one title. Not like now. It's multiple titles

  So so glad to see R.B Silva on the X-Men series! His art is so damn gorgeous! Looking forward to further build up. Anyone know much about the Children of the Vault and other concepts he is referring to?

  I don’t know what’s going on but this issue felt right. Seems like a lot at stake after this issue, but I’m also wondering how these issues tie together...if at all

  That is exactly what makes me constantly reconsider whether I should drop this book or not. The individual stories do not seem to be connected at all. Add to that that the dialog in the first 3 issues was terrible, and a premise that is less than vague, I can't say I am really looking forward to the next issues once I am done with reading one.

  Also, characters are all over the books. I understand that Krakoa has the gates for near instantaneous travel, but it still feels like the different Dawn of X books are not really connected.

  That said, this was a great read, and the art was light years more enjoyable than Yu's work, which baffles me, I always considered Yu one of my favorites. Maybe he should stay away from coloring? 

  I really don't know what, but something really bothers me about this series.

  I am feeling some fatigue with these "standalone" issues as well. There isn't any depth to these new characters or new concepts every issue. I am not getting the sense this is all going to come together.

  The Hickman obfuscation must be balanced with storytelling. I love a good riddle. But this is begging me to drop from my pull and trade wait. At least my confusion won't be for months

  Yeah, I feel like the "don't need to buy the whole Dawn of X line" comment Hickman made is only half true. The stories are enjoyable, but I have no clue where the greater story is at the the beginning of every issue (I only pull X-Men out of the DoX line).
