THE BIRTH OF THE BATPLANE II!

Batman is asked to borrow the Batplane to the military in order to test a new equipment, but during the trials, the Batplane's controls jam and the Dynamic Duo have to jump off as the plane keeps flying to the horizon. Some time later, the Batplane lands near a factory owned by three criminals and they find the empty vehicle. The thugs realize that this is a golden opportunity and they start creating replicas of the Batplane to perform successful crimes. In the meantime, Bruce and Dick are also building a new Batplane using Bruce's improved design model, which will feature better equipment and different functionalities. When the criminals start using their replicas of the old version of the Batplane, Batman and Robin manage to finish the Batplane II just in time to test it against the old version. The new model is useless against three Batplanes at the same time. Batman decides to take down the old copies of the Batplane one by one until the criminals are captured, proving the new Batplane is much better than the old one.

THE MYSTERY OF THE WINGED PEOPLE!

Penguin escapes from prison again using mechanical wings made in the prison shop. The Penguin and his minions start a series of crimes using flying devices and they send the clues about the "winged crimes" to Batman and Robin. The Penguin's gang later captures Robin in an attempt to force Batman to reveal his true identity. However, Batman deduces the Penguin's plan and prepares a trap to capture the thugs and rescues Robin.

THE WHEELCHAIR CRIMEFIGHTER!

While chasing some criminals, Batman falls from a high place and injures his legs. Robin takes Batman to a doctor, who informs them that Batman has broken both legs. The doctor puts casts on Batman's legs, incapacitating him at least for three months. Unable to walk, Batman is forced to stay on a wheelchair and after learning the news, Vicki Vale tries to uncover Batman's identity by visiting Bruce. He manages to conceal his legs, but Vicki is sure that his legs are broken just like Batman's and she asks Bruce on a dancing date to prove her wrong. Without time to worry about Vicki, Batman notices the Bat-Signal in the sky and soon he meets Commissioner Gordon on his wheelchair. Batman has incorporated gadgets and a mechanical motor to use the wheelchair on his fight against crime, and most of the time it proves successful. After having captured most of the criminals they were chasing, Robin finds out that the doctor lied to them as Batman's legs were never broken. Batman takes away the casts from his legs and he confronts the doctor, who is in fact an underground crime doctor, working for criminal gangs. The doctor is captured and the criminals are all arrested. Afterwards, Bruce walks to Vicki's home, where she is shocked to see him walking and starts dropping her theory of Bruce being Batman. However, on their way to the dance club, Vicki learns about Batman's recently healed legs and she becomes suspicious of Bruce again.
