I liked the Superman story the best out of all three. Can't wait to see what Bendis does with the Daily Planet crew and I'm not as weirdly freaked out about Lois and Jon as some seem to be since Bendis has confirmed that both will be in his series.
The Batman story was good but I'm just not digging the main series so it didn't do much to pull me in. Snyder's League looks fun but the story here was essentially the team posters with dialogue added in.
That Batman story was phenomenal! I am super pumped for No Justice and Snyder's run. Like everyone else Bendis Superman run has me worried, that story was truly bland. Noticed that this was free as a digital, does the physical copy have anything more to it? Also i like this DC Nation Magazine DC is trying to start hopefully it runs for more than just 6 issues. DC needs to do more to show interactions with fans! Show some letters, competitions!
I was willing to give Bendis the benefit of the doubt when he was announced for Superman. But now I think it's time to panic. Between this and the Action Comics #1000 story I am not impressed and in fact I am very worried. He had better not touch Lois, Jon or the marriage. There is a lot to be worried about. Superman has been great since Rebirth started and to see all that potentially be over is upsetting to say the least.
The Justice League stuff was simply AMAZING. Getting a taste of all these different teams and interactions has me extremely hyped for No Justice. It is also opening up so much for the DC Universe on a cosmic level. Expanding the universe creates so much creativity and I can't wait to see it all unfold.
I also hope he doesn't retcon Supe's family
Loved the batman story.
The JL story was an ok introduction to No Justice. Based on this story, No Justice looks to be the same craziness on a page that metal was. I'm picking this up. Do the omega titans remind anyone else of the celestials?
Hated the supes story. Way to wordy and boring. If this is what action is going to be like going forward I have no interest in this book. Picking up Bendis may have been a big mistake for DC and a blessing for Marvel.
Yeah wasn't impressed with Supes. I've loved what Jurgens + Gleason/Tomassi have done with the character recently. Just worried it's gonna all get rehashed
It's Bendis and i'm confident he hasn't read any of Jurgens and Tomassi's stuff. I can guarantee you that supes continuity is going to get messed up really soon.
Yes, I doubt it's a coincidence that DC runs with these "Titans" at the same time as Marvel doing their "Dark Celestials" event.

I want to comment on the Tom King Batman story. Ok, the dad in the story kept mentioning his daughter and it was as if he was offering her to the Joker either to kill or rape. That's how I read it and if that's true then that's just f-ing sick. Tom King writes some real crazy shit sometimes. Overall, I thought it was good though. Actually I thought all the stories were interesting. I'm willing to give Bendis a chance, I don't think you can really judge anything on a little snippet of a story. The Justice League stuff looks like it could be interesting too.
I took that as "I have a family... Please don't kill me". You see it in film all the time the "I have a family line.

I'm going to stand by my first statements about the Batman story. I just read it for the 2nd time. I really do believe that King is hinting that this guy is offering up his daughter. I can give specific reasons I believe that later as at the moment I'm at work and don't have the comic with me.
The moment you posted this, I went back and reread it.... I still believe he is pleading for his life. He later brings her up giving the Joker specifics about his daughter... To convince him to let him live. I took all of this as. "Hey, I have a Daughter to live for. I am not asking you to save my life for" me"... But for my Daughter's sake.
I can see what you are saying if reading Joker from the perspective of The Killing Joke. I've read TKJ a couple times and the next Joker story I read always reads a bit more demented than intended. This story was creepy Joker but I didn't get that feeling initially but saw it when rereading after you pointed it out.
Bendis is definitely about to retcon Superman's family. 100% no doubt in my mind after this issue. I already didn't care for him and now he's going to mess up rebirth Superman, the run that finally made me fall in love with Superman. Now I really dislike Bendis.

No I don't think he'd going to retcon anything or get rid of the family. They're way too popular and DC knows this. The higher ups wouldn't allow that. No, what's going to happen is he'll put them through a rough patch and needless confrontation in a poor attempt to make Superman "relatable".
I am still going to hold off judgment untill I read his story. Let's see what he does first. If he does "retcon" the family... Would you not want to know why maybe? All I know is after Jason Fabok read Bendis script he tweeted he was incredibly inspired and wants to dig into a series again. So.... Let's see.
I don't think that he's going to retcon his family completely out of existence but he's definitely about to do some damage to the rebirth run

Yeah. I'm definitely tempted to pick that series up, loved the artwork and have enjoyed the Snyder Batman volumes that I've read so far.
Does anyone know if DC mention the threat previously like Marvel did with the Legacy #1?
Liked the Batman and No Justice parts, but Bendis's Superman was bland, especially when the characters say "um" every other sentence.
Bendis Action and Superman comics have been fantastic IMHO.
Well, haven't gotten to them yet, so I'll find out eventually.
