Totally worth it.
Looking forward to getting here. I am at issue 79
Now this was a bombastic issue! All that action and excitement for this climax and that surprise ending was terrific! My expectations have been constantly subverted every single time and I enjoy how unpredictable and expressive Tom, Janin and the team can be with every panel! Looks like its wrapping up nicely!
Is this a good jumping on point for this Batman run?

Tynion is probably just there from #86-#99 and finishing up his story in a giant sized #100.
Someone else would follow with a #1 and a rumored new Batman.
Nope, I would wait until January. New writer and new arc.
I don't like that Batman is written as a cheater and one who would cripple an enemy out of vengeance. (And I am a King fan.) This was a super weird issue. My least favorite issue of the entire run.
I usually like King's dialogues and narrative, but this last issues were pretty awfull. And that without counting the plot... I hope the end redeem the book.
The gimmick for this comic is cool. I like the covers immensely. I've seen metal art covers, 3-D, and now these. Has anyone seen other comic cover gimmicks besides these types? The story rates 5 stars.
I loooove gimmick covers. Embossed, foil, die cut, lenticular, glow in the dark, acetate, they all can be really really cool.
Have you seen Marvel Fatal Attraction comics X-Men #25 (Oct) & Wolverine # 75 (Nov) with the holographic cards on the covers?
Was so ecstatic at the moment, like holy fuck, the Bat breaks Bane this time...but nope. :(
5/5 I loved this issue! Stunning art, and top-quality Tom King writing. It was getting iffy on the way here, but this issue reminded me of how great Tom King can be. Oh, and screw Thomas for that... Was looking forward to that epic moment.
