Wonder Woman #98
Wonder Woman's origin story and character was given a Silver Age revamp in this issue. Rober Kanigher's story retold how the contest that had been initiated by Athena and sponsored by Hippolyta would determine which Amazon would be sent to live in "Man's world." Orana, the red-haired Amazon challenged Diana for the title of Wonder Woman. Her challenge was unsuccessful and Diana returned to live among men, taking the identity of Diana Prince as she did so, becoming secretary to Steve Trevor, an army intelligence officer.
