URBAN RENEWAL PART 1

In the middle of the night, the police department investigates a fatal bombing at a Wayne Enterprises construction site. Signs point towards this being the work of militant OGs (Original Gothamites), disgruntled with the many slights and difficulties they have suffered even since Gotham City returned to being part of the United States. However, OG spokesman Roberto Alonzo, a former associate of the Black Mask, points out that this is very unlikely, as Bruce Wayne is one of the few employers to have treated the OGs with the respect they deserve and given them the help they need. James Gordon comes under pressure from Mayor Dickerson, who wants an arrest quickly, both to appease the construction firms working in the city and to give him a soundbite at a press conference - in fact, he wants Alonzo arrested immediately, but Gordon will not authorize any such action without concrete proof.  Meanwhile, Batman investigates Francis Piper, a known criminal who has been seen at some of Alonzo's rallies. Even as Alonzo is arrested due to his name being used to rent the car which was turned into a carbomb, Batman discovers that Piper had posed as Alonzo, stealing his wallet, in order to cast blame on the OG leader. However, Piper claims that he does not know who hired him to do this. Alonzo is released, but he is attacked soon after leaving GCPD Headquarters, and his body is strapped inside another vehicle which is blown up at another construction site, this time belonging to Coldwell and Ferris Construction.

THE JACOBIAN PART 3 - DESERT NINJA

As Jacob continues to search for Leelee's missing husband, the two of them come under attack from the Mahmatchik, a group of desert-based ninjas. They try to escape bu the group of ninjas catch them with ease. Leelee stands against them, but after a while she is outnumbered and knocked unconscious. Jacob knows that he can't fight them all, but suddenly he realizes that he doesn't have to fight them all, as he starts seeing specific weak points in his opponents. After a while, Jacob and Leelee escape thanks to Jacob's attack on the ninjas.  When the ninjas recover, they realize that Jacob has started to develop his abilities and that they must act fast to stop him.
