I really enjoyed this Dickensian journey through Loki’s life, and the horiffic last page was a big surprise.

I have finally caught up with Thor. I will read War Of The Realms #1 first before I read this issue. I can say this current run on Thor is weaker than what has come before. I hope The War Of The Realms brings with it some better stories.
The current Thor run has just been to setup WotR. Maybe the story will get better once it's over?
@JackAcid don't drop it has Aaron is finishing his run and will only have a couple issues after WotR to warp everything up. Also be very careful what you wish for. There are not very many people at Marvel that would be able to do what Aaron has done on Thor. The grass is hardly ever greener on the other side.
Yeah, I will stick around till the end. His work has been so fantastic. Just this lead up to the War has been like treading water. But I just read the first issue of the War. Should be good.
Aaron's call back to Thor 400 shows how extensive and epic his grand run is. Where are all the lovers of this recent run. All I'm seeing is nay sayers.
Loved this issue and I've been enjoying this run. It's quite different adding small stories to add to the background of the characters we've been following for so long. Unlike the League of Realms arcs that I thought were just okay after Gorr, I've immediately taken to these; of course as I've been re-reading those LoR arcs, through my new hardback, and they are much better with the greater context now
After re-reading this the other day, I do like how Loki and Malekith's history cross but the parallels in regard to the source of their power, their magic, is a nice touch.
