  What started out as a really interesting, heart-pumping kind of story ended up falling a little flat. No spoilers, but the ending seemed a little, random. I will probably not pick up the "second season".

  Wow, it must be pretty bad if you're not gonna continue to pull it. You've been pretty high on this series since the start, so I'm surprised to hear this. I've read the first 2 and have enjoyed them so far.

  Maybe that came off too harsh. I'm still a fan of this arc, I'm just wavering on whether or not I want to continue. The end was obviously written to be a "shocking" moment, but it wasn't really that much of a surprise, which is what I'd come to expect. I think the biggest draw for me was the way the story played with sensationalist media. The strange thing is it may have played into it too well. That is to say in order to keep being sensational it has to throw out some pretty wild stuff to hold the viewer/reader's attention. I don't know if it can keep it up.
