  As I say every issue Spencer gets the character that he is writing. I really enjoyed this short arc story wise, and I’m loving that Spencer is taking all the Brand New Day ideas that failed and making them work. Sadly the art held everything back, Bachalo should never be a Spider-Man artist, his layouts and pencils are not dynamic enough for a Spider-Man story. Excited for what is next though.

  I love Bachalo. Some of these pages made me wish he was the only guy drawing ASM. But some (the last splash in particular) felt really rushed. Makes me think the publisher had something to do with it....

  Love the cover. Still getting used to the new art style, we'll see how it goes. The white border's and backgrounds throw me off a bit.

  Didn't care for the art, really I'm only on board for the Peter/MJ story and to see what they're doing with the sinister six at this point

  Glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t care for Bachalo’s art on this run. The colors do nothing to help the story as well.

  I agree about tha art. It was hard to figure out what was going on in the restaurant. Was he holding up a wall? The cover was cool though.

  I also agree with the art not blending with Spider-Man’s universe in general. However, I like the possibility of where the story is headed overall. The next arc looks to be the biggest story yet! Can’t wait!

  Aunt May in trouble again! I can't believe it (sarcasm.)

  I do like how they referenced the soup kitchen. The Lizard's son sure is angsty, but I like his dilemma. (The Lizard's not a great parent, at all.)
