To quote another book Chip works on: This guy. This f***ing guy. Chip nailed everything Spider-Man in this issue. Humor. Heroics. Dorkiness. Darkness. Humanity. Just spectacular. I fell in love with Spider-Man all over again.

Exactly how I felt. This is now my favorite single issue of Spider-Man, and I would offer it to anyone who asks why I love the character so much.

Love it. I totally cried on the bus while reading this. I was that person awkwardly hiding tears on the bus while reading a comic.
Totally. Also why I dig this character. Zdarsky did a great job with Spider-Man.
Just finished reading this one. I totally agree! This was a completely awesome single issue! I love the arcs, but sometimes it's just good to read a great stand alone issue. This was one of those issues!
This is my favorite single issue of Spider-Man. It so perfectly encapsulates everything that I love about the character: his goofiness, his kindness, his pain, his relatability and his never-ending drive to do what's right. Zdarsky artfully explains what I have felt since childhood: Peter Parker shows us that we can all be heroes. Every day.

Agreed. Perhaps Spencer will work into his current run on Amazing? He's been doing a solid job so far, and is one of the few writers I would trust to pick up Zdarsky's loose threads.

Seeing the different views if Spidey and how he effects people differently was great, but the overall story was fantastic!

I know, life has been a whirlwind this last year. I hope to get back to it, here and there.
What a sendoff for Chip Zdarsky! So bittersweet as this series seems to be ending again after the next couple geddon tie-in issues. But this run by Zdarsky was brilliant, and this issue cut to the core of what Marvel superheroes are about.
Right in the feels...
Damn, that was great! Reminds me of the last issue of Slott's ASM run, but y'know, actually good.
