BLOODLINES: OUTBREAK PART 1 - HOUNDS OF BLOOD

From interdimensional space come lifeforms as ferocious and predatory as they are hideous...shape-shifting parasites that inhabit a living spaceship and harbor a terrible secret that threatens the planet Earth. It's death from beyond the stars for an angry Main Man when Lobo is ordered by Chief Dox to investigate a disturbing rift in space. But Dox places special L.E.G.I.O.N. agent Layla in charge of the mission and Lobo finds that he's met his match in the butt-kickin' department...especially when Layla goes on to become the first New Blood in the DC Universe! 

This issue is divided into three chapters:

• Part III: New Blood Kid
• Each of the Bloodlines annuals for 1993 introduce a new super-hero character. This issue introduces the character of Layla. Layla appears next in L.E.G.I.O.N. '93 Annual #4.
