"Nameless"

Agent Wax explores the meaning behind "Tempest Green" and finds an "Operation Nameless". He seeks his answers from a fellow National Park Service agent named Calvin, who he reveals that Nameless is a very disturbed covert agent who is sent into an assassination mission in L.A. to kill Jack Marlowe, whom the assassin is posing as a janitor at the Halo Corporation. Wax quickly makes his flight to L.A. to warn Marlowe.

In Greece, Grifter's party raids a Coda outpost where they find an ammunition dump and also learns from their hacked encrypted files that the Coda are already aware of them.

In L.A., Wax finally arrives at the Halo Building just as the assassin is preparing to kill Marlowe. However, Marlowe confronts the assassin and tells him he has already known what he was doing. Marlowe teleports Wax into their midst. Wax tries to hypnotize the assassin but doesn't work as the man is a telepath and is immune to Wax's powers. Marlowe then teleports them to the main hub of Halo as he tells his assassin that he has no idea of the far-reaching nature of Marlowe's plans, in which he shows the assassin and Wax Otherspace - the power source of the Halo Batteries. Acknowledging the assassin's telepathy, Marlowe deliberately has him scan his mind. The assassin is surprised by Marlowe's true identity. Marlowe begins criticizing the assassin for being the example of humanity's evils and knows that he deserves punishment for killing the adolescents at the arcade. The assassin, overwhelmed from reading Marlowe's thoughts and becoming terrified of him, begs for Marlowe to spare him but Marlowe passes judgment on him by sentencing him into Otherspace where he is painfully ripped apart.

Marlowe and Wax teleports back to Halo where the latter digresses his concerns to Marlowe that the assassin proved to mean that despite the turmoil in Washington, independent agencies are also after him if he doesn't act. Marlowe completely agrees with Wax's assessment, but refocuses on something else. He receives radio contact from Grifter, who on the other end of the line is calling for Marlowe's help, as he and the rescue team are trying to break into the Coda's fortress where they are keeping Zealot.
