I really liked this issue, it felt, I guess, very "Superman-y," which I guess isn't the best decription because it's "Superman #2," but Clark talking to and teaching his son was a great representation...

Damn?! I'm loving a Superman book? Who woulda' thunk? These Gleason and Tomasi fools know how to write a Father/Son drama like a mother fucker...
I really like the idea of superman having a son... but the execution is really bland. 1st issue superson kills a cat, 2nd issue eradicator is back and a girl has a crush on superson out of nowhere ): well at least is better than action comics...
I'm loving this series. May be one of my fave new DC Rebirth titles. I live the dynamic between Superman and his son.

Havent picked up a Superman comic in a long time, but right now this is my favourite series of the DC Rebirth titles.
I've been a big fan of the Tomasi / Gleason partnership, since 'Green Lantern Corps'. I would seriously dig it if they chose to take on the rumoured 'JSA' re-launch; although Dan Abnett might have something to say about that.
Yeah to be honest the cat thing really turned me off. I haven't got around to the second issue, but idk. I'm intrigued at the plot/story and that counts I guess?
Have to say I'm loving this. I wasn't great with the whole 'marrying Lois' thing (pre-52) but now it all fits. Supes as Super- husband and dad. Bob Haney was ahead of his time :)
