A DAGGER SO DEADLY...

Batman is under pressure as he has not been able to locate Man-Bat after their previous encounter and the Wayne Foundation is still under the threat of Poison Ivy, who is planning to claim all the assets of the company.  To make matters worse, Batman learns of the appearance of a new costumed criminal called Dagger, a knife-throwing criminal, who manages to destroy the Batmobile using only his razor sharp knives. Taking things personally, Batman investigates the crimes commited by Dagger and also retrieves the weapon that destroyed his car and learns the origin of such weapons.  Batman goes to the small town of Stokely, where the Rennington Steel plant has been working for years and talks to the owner about the recent crimes of Dagger. Unaware to Batman, the owner is the criminal himself and when the man put his own costume, a confrontation starts between them. In the end, Batman defeats the criminal and warns the local police about the thug.  Meanwhile in Gotham City, the candidate for Mayor, Arthur Reeves is approached by a mysterious man, who provides him with photo evidence of Batman's secret identity in order to have him win the election.

ODYSSEY'S END

After taking a girl for treatment at a clinic in Virginia, Robin learns that the "staff" there are actually drug smugglers. Going at night to rescue the girl, Robin is captured by the criminals and tied to a bed with a running flow of anesthesia. The crooks leave Robin to die, but he is saved by the girl, who comes out of her trance in time to save Robin.  Once free, Robin is able to capture the criminals and free the real staff of the clinic. After the authorities learn about Robin's successful mission, they ask him if there is anything they can do to repay him and he only asks for a one way ticket to Gotham City.
