Siphon was a former teacher who was experimented on by Dr. Abraham Cornelius for the Weapon X Program in Paradise, Nevada. Siphon's new abilities turned him into a vampire-like creature who had an insatiable thirst for people who had regenerative powers, to the point that even Cornelius himself was scared of him.
