Buffy's closests guy friend & member of the Scooby Gang who helps fight the forces of evil, alongside Buffy, Willow, and Giles. Despite being good friends with Willow & Buffy, Xander is very lonely. Buffy has Giles & her family. Meanwhile, Willow has her girlfriend, Rose. As such, he can often be seen by himself while everyone else is paired off with other things going on.
Things change considerably when he falls pray to Drusilla & Spike and is sired by the latter. However, Spike did not complete the siring process, leaving Xander in a state between demon & man.
