Howeird was an assistant to Mr. U-Tu in the game show You bet your dignity. Whenever someone said the "secret woid", Howeird was to pay that person $100. Howeird held a visible sign with the woid. When Longshort won the prize, he rejected the money and instead tried to keep the duck; but, as he was leaving, he met a guy named George (Lucas) who tried to buy the duck to use him in a movie. As the film apparently flopped, Howerid ended up in the Home for Dead and Forgotten Comic Book Characters, and was there when Forbush Man got annoyed with being a resident and returned to Marbel Comics. She believed she was still engaged to Peter Pooper, but Pooper had married to another girl by then.
