History

Her powers allow her to create convincing illusions and induce feelings in her victims. This led her to become a high-priced assassin for hire, although she has also sometimes worked with heroes.

Suicide Squad

Amanda Waller recruited Mindboggler to become a member of her new Suicide Squad. Mindboggler stated that she had never felt like she belonged anywhere, and she hoped she would find a home with this team. Captain Boomerang sexually harassed her other teammate Plastique, so Mindboggler used her powers to embarrass him in front of the team. The Suicide Squad is sent to destroy the terrorist group Jihad in Qurac. Mindboggler is tasked with keeping the soldiers occupied in their fortress Jotunheim. Rustam gets behind her and prepares to cut her down with a machine gun. Captain Boomerang witnesses this, but decides not to intervene and leaves her to die because she humiliated him. Rustam murders Mindboggler, and Captain Boomerang tells the rest of the Suicide Squad he got there too late.

Ifrit

The terrorist group Jihad later used a digital assassin called Ifrit, similar to their earlier member Djinn. Ifrit had the appearance and personality of Mindboggler. She was used to attack the Suicide Squad.
