Leonardo, named in honor of the great artist of the Renaissance Leonardo da Vinci, is the most senior of the Turtles and is their leader due to his commanding personality and serious nature. Among his brothers, he is the most ordered and disciplined, and also possesses a strong bond with his father/mentor Splinter. He wears a blue mask and wields twin katanas.
