History

Vinnie's life changed one day one of his girls, whose street name was Toots, encountered the Beyonder, a godlike being that came to Earth to learn about human desire. Seeing that he could create gold out of thin air, Toots went to get Vinnie. When Vinnie wanted answers from the Beyonder, the entity explained what it understood as its origins at the time and how it encountered Earth, and began the Secret Wars to learn about human desire. Failing to accomplish that, the Beyonder then came to Earth.

Corbo, seeing a golden opportunity, convinced the Beyonder to work for him. Taking the near omnipotent being under his wing, Corbo showed him a life of decadence. The Beyonder earned a love of fine dining and became a glutton, and was educated in sex with a room full of hookers, and was given a new wardrobe. He'd repay Vinnie for this experience by helping Vinnie enforce his rackets, cure his prostitutes of sexually transmitted diseases, and create gold to fund his empire. The Beyonder was also asked to cure Corbo's son of dyslexia, as well as reform his wife to appears as she did when Corbo first married her.

The Beyonder also developed a love for gadgets and other mechanical devices and got whatever he wanted. He also helped Corbo win at the horse races, using his powers to help Vinnie win big. Helping Corbo with his gambling and other enterprises made Corbo a very rich man. Eventually Corbo came to believe that the Beyonder had become too big for the relatively small pond they were working from. He then convinced the Beyonder to move on and find his own way in the world.

Corbo's subsequent activities are unknown.
