Saved by and then a member of Magneto's X-Men, Katherine ended up marrying one of her saviors, Colossus. She and Colossus became the teachers of Magneto's next generation of mutants, until she was tragically killed by her husband while he was mad with rage after finding out that the timeline they were fighting to restore saw his little sister dead.
