Myrn was a long-time friend of Zabyk, and was worked with him on his Hyper-Wave Bomb project. After completing his tasks, including situating his friend in an intricate exoskeletal suit of armor, Myrn was betrayed and fatally wounded. Just before he died, a band of Earth's heroes found him, and he warned Mr. Fantastic of the bomb before expiring. However, either due to a mistake on his part or perhaps a precaution against betrayal, the bomb only affected Skrulls, neutralizing their power of shape-shift for a time.
