History
When Taskmaster sought to infiltrate the Tiger Division Base in Buramsan Mountain to copy the kinesic signature of NIS director Ami Han, he manipulated a group of local terrorists and ratted them out. Taegukgi attacked the terrorists' base and left them to the authorities. Taskmaster used Pym Particles to shrink himself and ride on Taegukgi's neck to infiltrate the building. Once the intruder was found in the air vents Taegukgi fired an energy beam into the ventilation shaft, but didn't hit Taskmaster, who managed to escape.
As part of a plan to stage a coup, a gangster family called the Choi Faction provided the body-snatcher villain Mongdal a power boost to take over Taegukgi's body, threatening to let him loose on Seoul if the government didn't cede control to them. Under his super hero alter-ego of the White Fox, Ami Han led Tiger Division and conscripted ally the Black Cat on an attack on the Choi Faction's base at the abandoned Alps Ski Resort. Using Taegukgi's body, Mongdal confronted and defeated most of Tiger Division while the White Fox and Black Cat infiltrated the building. When Mongdal noticed his body had been found, he beamed his consciousness back from Taegukgi's body, leaving the hero unconscious. Afterward, the Black Cat killed Mongdal, putting an end to his plan.
