    Easily the best of DC Comics' New 52 thus far
    In the past, writer (and artist) Tony S. Daniel hadn't penned many stories involving Bruce Wayne as Batman. Much of his run on Batman took place during Dick Grayson's tenure as the Dark Knight after Grant Morrison moved onto the Batman & Robin series. For this reason, I was a bit concerned that DC Comics was risking a lot by putting Detective Comics #1 ahead of Scott Snyder's Batman #1 in September. After all, this single issue needs to hook...
