The Zombie Ratings Apocalypse continues with The Walking Dead's latest mid-season premiere, "Nebraska", once again shattering records for AMC. The network issued a press release today bragging about the show's success, specifically, how its return garnered 8.1 million viewers for the premiere and then another 2 million for its encore.
"Nebraska" broke basic cable records for the sheer number of viewers, one that the show had set back in October 2011 with the Season 2 premiere. As you'd expect, the show performed admirably in the 18-49 and 25-54 demographics. 5.4 million (up 12%) and 4.4 million (6%) respectively from the second season premiere.
AMC also released the episode in full online for those that didn't catch it on the air, which we've got below. Ratings aside, what did you think of The Walking Dead's "Nebraska"?
