This Sunday, February 5th, most of America will tune in to watch Super Bowl XLVI on NBC. As usual, there will be plenty of big trailers airing during the game's commercial breaks. Two of those will be for this Summer's comic book movies, The Avengers and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. To get you excited before the big game, the studios are releasing teasers for their full-length commercials. Marvel Studios has released a clip from The Avengers commercial and at the same time a glimpse of G.I. Joe: Retaliation aired during tonight's episode of ET.
The Avengers teaser clip gives fans their first glimpse at the enemies Earth's Mightiest Heroes will face in the Joss Whedon-directed film. There even seems to be a shot of Loki (or one of the aliens) flying by tons of destruction. You can watch the ten second clip below:
And the clip from the G.I. Joe teaser comes via Joe fansite, GeneralsJoes, who managed to catch it live during tonight's episode of Entertainment Tonight. The clip doesn't have much new footage, but it does showcase a new scene with both Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis.
