First Look at DC Direct's Dark Knight Rises Collectibles

With Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises arriving in theaters this Summer, it's no surprise that there's going to be an onslaught on movie tie-in toys and merchandise. Which brings us to London's Toy Fair 2012, which opened today at Olympia's Grand Hall. There, DC Direct finally unveiled their lineup for the Summer with some movie tie-in toys Batman fans are sure to love. 

Beginning in June, DC Direct plans to release 3 flavors of collectibles, the first being some incredibly detailed action busts of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. Here's your first look at promotional photos thanks to the guys over at Idle Hands:

Of course, busts are an acquired taste. Some prefer their comic book movie toys to have legs. After all, you're going to want to see those thigh-high leather boots on Anne Hathaway's Catwoman. Which is why DC Direct is releasing 6" action figures for the three characters. Some early photos of their sculpts in progress:

And if the 6 inch scale is not your thing, then DC Direct's 12 inch statue line might suit you. Featuring the same 3 characters, the Icon 12" series will surely get close to the Hot Toys' line of TDKR collectibles in terms of accuracy and may even be a more affordable alternative for fans.
