A New International Poster for John Carter

A new international poster for Disney's John Carter has made its way online via Andromeda High, once again presenting the adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough's A Princess of Mars without actually making it obvious they're on Mars.

Of course, after fellow Pixar veteran, Brad Bird, had a slam dunk from his outstanding live-action directorial debut with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, you'd think John Carter director Andrew Stanton would want the same for his own live-action debut. It's certainly lead him to changing the film's title several times and shifting the marketing campaign's positioning from sci-fi epic to all-ages action adventure.

Disney's John Carter stars Taylor Kitsch as the titular hero, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church, Willem Dafoe, and will be released to theaters on March 9th, 2012.
