Next week's issue of Entertainment Weekly will feature Christian Bale's Batman from The Dark Knight Rises on the cover. The issue, arriving in the mail for subscribers today, features an in-depth preview of the Christopher Nolan-directed film with tons of exclusive photos, new quotes from the cast and crew, and much more. And although none of those photos have been leaked just yet, EW did provide us with the cover artwork and some quotes from the preview itself. Plus, three of the photos from the preview down below.
[Mild Spoilers] One tidbit they did offer was the fact that the Batcave will return. Though, that shouldn't seem all that surprising considering Nolan is wrapping up his trilogy here, having hinted at its return back in Batman Begins. But the Batcave isn't the only plot point continuing from a previous film. Fans can expect some fallout from the cover-up of Harvey Dent's alter-ego/death. No secret is safe in Gotham.
As for whether or not Nolan will fix Bane's voice... well, Nolan sidesteps the topic a bit. "I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him," he told the magazine.
