Warner Bros officially announce LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

For some time now, we've known that there would be a sequel to the hit All Ages video game, LEGO Batman, and now Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have finally made it official. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is coming this Summer to the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, DS, 3DS, and Vita from Warner and Traveller's Tales (TT) Games.

With the sequel, players can once again expect to join Batman and Robin in their battle against the supervillains of Gotham City. However, this time It's no longer just about Gotham and Batman's Rogues gallery. Now, Lex Luthor and other heroes' villains have joined the fray and it's up to Batman, Robin and their allies from the Justice League to take them down. They'll have new abilities at their disposal as well, as Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, and others will join in on the action. From high-tech gadgetry to heat vision and flight, gameplay is getting quite an upgrade.

Expect to hear more about the video game in the coming months as its release draws closer.
