Sideshow Collectibles unveils new Storm Shadow statue

It's that time of year again. The 12 Days of Sideshow have begun and although the first couple of previews have been for Star Wars related statues, it appears we've got our first look at something from the world of G.I. Joe. Could they be working on a Storm Shadow statue?

The teaser image was released without any details, but it seems likely that Joe fans are in store for a pretty awesome premium format collectible from Sideshow. The look of Storm Shadow seems to be inspired by the hooded ninja Storm Shadow figure from Hasbro's 25th Anniversary G.I. Joe action figure line. Though, it's certainly possible this one could tie-in with the upcoming movie.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait for Sideshow to unveil the full details.
