2 New High Resolution Avengers Photos from Empire Magazine

The latest issue of Empire Magazine features a preview of Joss Whedon's The Avengers movie and contained a few new photos of the team in action. Some scans made their way online during the week, but today two of the images used in the magazine were officially released for your viewing pleasure.

The first shot shows Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Captain America (Chris Evans) in the middle of a battle against an alien menace. The city (presumably NYC) has seen better days and as you can see from Thor's armor, they're covered in Alien blood. It's also likely from the same scene as a previous official still that had the two gazing into the sky.

The second shot, which was also in the recent trailer, shows Iron Man flying through the city at night. Nothing special, but it's something that will look cool in motion, I'm sure.
