The Dark Knight Rises Trailer is Officially Here!

After having to endure over a week of leaked footage from both the prologue and theatrical trailer, comic book movie fans can now rest knowing they've watched The Dark Knight Rises trailer in its full, high resolution glory. Unfortunately, we still have more than half a year until the final film from Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy arrives in theaters.

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Pence, and many others. "The Legend Ends" and "The Fire Rises" July 20th, 2012. The film begins eight years after the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent. Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes in order to protect Dent's reputation and Batman is subsequently hunted by the Gotham City Police Department. Batman returns to Gotham where he must discover the truth regarding the "enigmatic" Selina Kyle while facing the villain Bane and stop his plans to destroy the city.
