SHH got a hold of a brand new, official poster from Columbia Pictures and Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man. The poster features Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) scaling an alley wall in NYC with the spider logo as his shadow. Below it, a new tagline, "The Untold Story". An interesting choice for a reboot.
Still, it's a pretty slick looking poster that should set the tone for the serious take on the Marvel Comics superhero.
Side note: This poster comes only a couple days after the recent LA reshoots where Andrew Garfield was seen hanging around a similar building posing. That's quite a turn-around for a new poster.
The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3rd, 2012 in 3D starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and more.
