Pez Dispensers tease The Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man

Aside from footage shown during Comic-Con appearances, Rhys Ifans' look as The Lizard in The Amazing Spider-Man has been kept quite a secret by Columbia Pictures. That was until today... sort of.

Some Pez Dispenser images have been found online via CBM that show a bust of the Spider-Man movie villain, looking very humanoid. It's certainly not the first time merchandise has spoiled the look of character designs, but don't make the assumption that this is final. Some suggest this may be only his "initial form". Regardless, it won't be long until the studio releases some sort of official photo.

The Amazing Spider-Man, directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer), hits theaters July 3rd, 2012. It stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and many others.
