Hot Toys working on The Avengers Movie Collectibles

Hot Toys have secured the licensing to manufacture collectibles based on Marvel's The Avengers movie. The toy company plans to release two separate sets of limited edition collectible figures featuring characters from the upcoming movie. The first line will be their standard 1/6th scale action figures and then a brand new 1/4th scale series.

Discussing the 1/4th series, Hot Toys explained that they've put together a special team to create the larger scale figures and make them even more finely sculpted and sophisticated.

Lastly, If you're a collector that likes to keep everything within the same scale, you'll be pleased to hear that Hot Toys will be making announcements regarding other 1/4th scale figures soon. Stay tuned for more information.
