Green Lantern

In Warner Bros. Pictures' Green Lantern movie, a test pilot named Hal Jordan is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe known as the Green Lantern Corps.

Jordan is soon called to defend mankind from Parallax, a super-powerful entity that feeds on fear. He is the universe's last chance, as many Lanterns have been killed and the Corps is weakened. And he might just be the right Lantern for the job of keeping the world safe from harm.
