Following up his masterful Dark Angel Saga with something equally epic would have been tough, so Rick Remender has taken a completely different road.
-
... it’s not hard to understand why this is the most consistently enjoyable X-book in Marvel’s line.
-
A complete and utter mess.
-
Rick Remender knows how to create a cliff-hanger, sure, but what’s more impressive is how he resolves them.
-
This is easily the weakest installment in its twenty-issue run, but despite serious artistic flaws there’s still enough it gets right that it remains enjoyable.
-
Uncanny X-Force marks the start of an interesting diversion for the series, but not an entirely successful one.
-
Rick Remender’s use of older concepts form a backdrop for a strong story with "Uncanny X-Men," though it’s the return of an old favorite that drew me in to begin with. And while the art has its faults, the story is sure to please fans.
-
Remender is really doing something special with Uncanny X-Force. He’s combining really neat concepts with really neat battles.
