The pacing of this issue is a big improvement over the last arc. I don’t feel like I’m settling in for the first of six issues.
-
This is certainly shaping up to be a better read than the previous story, but that's not saying much. Is it great? Certainly not. It's a good enough way to kill five minutes? Sure.
-
Justice League #7 had a lot of good with a bit of great and Batman’s rodent face.
-
Geoff Johns has crafted a Justice League that might do exactly what it intends and appeal to an audience that was turned off by the goody-goody associations of the original DC universe team.
-
Justice League #7 finally gives us a breath of reasonably fresh air - or rather, the fresh air of reason - and then kicks us right square in the junk.
-
Consider Justice League #7 to be two short stories under one cover. Thankfully, both stories are worth your time and money.
-
The 7th issue of “Justice League” is pretty weak except for one really great character, Steve Trevor, and an intriguing back-up tale that introduces a super hero that doesn’t get enough respect or attention.
-
Geoff Johns and guest artist Gene Ha jump the series forward to the present day and I'm sure most readers will be saying, "It's about time." Reading this comic, I can understand why and it makes me wish we'd started at this point all along.
-
I had dropped this book after a couple of issues but the Shazam story I really enjoyed. I wonder how long you have to trade-wait for enough 10-12 page stories to pile up into a collection?
-
Despite this issue being the best of the entire run so far, I'm still confused as to some of the decisions behind it.
-
Despite being the seventh issue, we do have a feeling that things are a little new and exciting as we're now seeing the team in the present.
-
For a stand-alone issue meant to take a deep breath between major arcs, this was a fun little story about Steve Trevor that thankfully still had some classic JL throw-downs.
-
For those who were impatient with the at-times decompressed nature of the first arc, this issue has really picked up the pace.
